Granted, it does bulge out a wee bit. I’ll defer to the Medical Team @RCLC for comments on the difference, if any between the OE tub vice the Aq tub and its affects on the art of modern AC installation.

I have a dumb/ crazy idea.

Idea- cut up an old heater box to go around the O.A unit? Not that I hate how the unit looks, I just wonder if it can be done.

Anything can be done- I thought about that and my opinion is that might add more bulk and draw more attention. Once the rig is on all 4 on the ground it should be back of mind after awhile.

Big day at Grandma Chungas..Just getting settled.

Afternoon spent sparring with the power company again. Pretty sure the last thing I heard as I fought a withdrawal under fire was “Who runs Barter Town”.

Anyway, spent an hour or so digging through pieces and parts removed from or bought for the Mule. Pretty sure I’m sitting on enough ancillary parts to toss at a “Son of Mule” build, just need a donor, a lightning storm and a garage buddy named “Fred”.

It will fit, I need to rework the bracket from first mock-up.

3rd member checking out. In the time before time (IE joining Mud) added the 3.70’s at the same time I installed the Marks Header. I think they were “Yukon”..Meeeybeee. Too many winters ago. Regardless, The new thirds and the header are still top shelf.

I’ve not kept up with the commentary.

As always, things are progressing. I’ll butcher Churchill and say it’s looking like the “end of the beginning” for PHII in the Mec Shop at RCLC. Good shot of the OA controls added to the reconfigured dash.

Soft top is sitting in Memphis. That’s progress. I’ll take delivery here and saddle up the Tundra for the ride north. I do have a third option with the Safari Top (in black) I picked up from @roma042987. It’s been sitting on the shelf waiting on PH II. I reckon Ms Revenge has a safari/expedition or two planned for the outlet malls.

The timing of all things 2.0 worked out really well, @Jdc1 kicked open the doors to the shop on short notice and squeezed me in.

Reengaging with the power company today in an attempt to have the power turned back on in the storage bld.
The birthplace of the Mule. It needs a new mini fridge and a franken build..

I always taught my students “IOT be a successful Commander, surround yourself with the best people you can find, then get the he££ out of the way and let them do their jobs”. The least I can do is take my own advice.

TROA all the way from SA. Resisting the temptation to tear into it this PM so I can scatter it to the four corners of the Barbie Garage.
PHII A at the RCLC MEC garage is winding down. I’ll try to take the top north later in the week IOT kick off PHII B. It’ll be nice to have some overhead cover for the afternoon slide down to the Tastey Freeze.

I finally made it through to a human being at the power company, inspection scheduled for tomorrow. MON Power should be pumping high quality voltage into the Mule garage by the end of the week. I’ll sacrifice an extra chicken this PM just to be safe. Gonna be like old times in the storage Bld. All except for Fred. I don’t think he ever regained his sense of taste after scraping bed liner out of 1.0.

I was over at Geezer Buddies wood shop today. Noticed the prospective “shotgun caddy” sitting on the shelf. We had a failure to launch on that bit of kit for 2.0. It’s still stuck in the spit in the dirt and draw with a stick phase. Kinda want to see what kind of realestate I have under the top before committing.

It is crazy how well it’s packaged. They do ship to other far away ports of intrigue and mystery, probably not as interesting as this foray into the Land of Nod though.

I’ve had to dispose of a few of these. I will hand to them, the use the least amount to make the best packaging. I’d lose my shirt with 11ply Baltic birch and spax screws if were crating anything.

Last one I got was assembled with hand nailed glue coated ring shanks…
They got a sternly voiced email from me, I’ll tell you what.

The crap we pay a premium for here is, and I’m just throwing darts here, waaaay worse for (pick your battle) then that crate wood.

Word from the trenches:

Down to the Mop Up Operation. Far left vent, some wiring and a couple odds and ends. The centralized, nonstandard controls
look really nice IMHO (YMMV). Everything in the cockpit flows nicely and appeals to my sense of Feng Shui.
