You guys might like this ? I saved my trail spare Birfild , I had to cut my axle off ! No more snap rings for me ,I will put a MARV TACK on my axle shaft down by the Spiders gears ? You can see why axle would not come out ,That snap ring was all #$#%^^!

Nice new Longfeild axle and Birf ...? The pipe i found was just right size to center that axle in housing

So you center the shaft in the housing and then add shims to the knuckle until it is as close to center as you can get?
