Looks certainly can be deceiving! I think of all those BaT "creampuffs" that go for big money!

While @kelly saad is doing his magic on the body, I'll prep all the parts that bolt on it. Dash has been powder coated Navy Gray GR01 Cardinal, as all the rear cabinets will be. Ordered a new glove box door. This is dented a bit..

I'll make sure all the pieces fit. I did order a RHD set and ended up giving it to Alex at Fit Garage. I'll also wire on the frame the EATON lockers that @orangefj45 installed. I'm just getting amazing support from old friends and new. Thank you all.

It took me a moment to see the egg crates and I was thinking "Boy! Those are some crazy engine turned panels in the center of the dash!"

Finally after 24 months body is ready to be picked up. Every panel worked on or new OEM. NO RUST and all protected. Planning to drive down to Flagstaff and pick it up with our 60 series Landcruiser that just got a Toyota diesel engine from a Coaster bus in Honk Kong. Thanks @kelly saad!!!!!!

My eyes are bad, is that 6H9 or a sand color?
It's neither. Tried to mach my 80 series which was mixed custom to match the Toyota sandstone but single stage and never matched. So it's a 'match to a match'. ;)

Impressive!! I’m painting my 80 6H9 and nobody ever seems to have heard of that color.

If I may, which dealer or shop you provisioned this from and how much was it. Thank you.
The body shop is in Flagstaff. My budget for the finished overland vehicle is $90k. Doing most work myself. 5% of a McLaren P1 and so much better 😀.

Tomorrow headed back to the Bay Area with the body and doors towed on a trailer with our 60. Storm weather. Be exciting.

Can’t wait to mount this on the frame.

Must be exciting !!

That looks like a raft trailer not a 75 series trailer.

It sure is. My daughter and son in law are sick with that bug. Done all the rivers in the west and even took their 6 weeks old baby on the San Juan. Gran Canyon many times as private trips. I’m borrowing their trailer. Hahaha. Good catch!

Made it home safely after 17h of driving at 50-60 mph. Rig did over 24mpg until it lost 10 gallons on the freeway on the return line. Took 10 min to fix. I think it is a defected hose because the other section of the line has been there for 20 years. I'll check that it is not clogged. Good news not a scratch on the paint. Lask night after going through, I40 was closed due to a storm. Just missed it!!!!

This weekend body on frame.
