Damn, I hate coming into these projects "in progress". I always look forward to being able to just read from start to finish. This looks like a great project.

Gotta love all these 3FE project.

Nice - is that the Supra air filter off eBay?

Tucker

Tucker, isn't that the same air filter MMW is running on his 3FE-40?

x2, is there just one nipple on the tube between AFM and throttle body? Will you run a splittter to feed metered air into valve cover (for PCV) and ISC?

Or, take the metal ISC port out of the rubber and weld it into the metal PCV piece.

I was thinking of taking the tube out of the rubber pipe and drilling a hole and quick steeling it?..thought that would look the best and pretty easy to do..

Post up a pic when you do, I would like to see this approach!

Ah!

Trying to remember why that didn't work on mine - now I remember, I am no longer using the steel tube in order to fit aircleaner in Pig engine bay:

Two solutions for the same issue. I didn't use the rubber connector and retained the metal, modified of course. Sometimes you just have to get creative.

Also, does anyone know where to pick up an extra EFI badge? I want to add one to the grill like some of the others have done.

Yep. 11292-61010, $17.92 list, $13.47 from CDan.

Progress -

So I got the 40 home yesterday, but had to spend the afternoon clearing out the garage to get it back in :frown: It's amazing how much stuff you gain having a baby ... oh well ;) Got some time today and bolted the driveline together:

Stupid bolts I threw away only to figure out the 3FE ones were longer :frown:
