I'll start with a video, of a very slow race

And a picture of the legacy lineup. I'd been wanting to do this for a few years now so was very stoked and proud to have gotten this done, probably one of the coolest things we did all weekend. Not often you get to see these all in one place.

I really appreciate you guys hosting the event! It was a first for me and I never thought I’d see so many cruisers in one place (other than the LC Heritage Museum)

I tried to get a picture of every relic (there’s a few duplicates):

Just wish the 90 Series was in the legacy lineup lol (even though it’s a Prado)

Wow this year was brutal for the Florida crew on the way up and the way back with tons of roadside issues repairs and repairs but all trucks made it 600 miles each way under their own power the whole way.

Halfway home in South Carolina the 45 blew a chunk out of the radiator (and has a cracked cylinder head), we set up shop in a Autozone parking lot and jammed a Dodge Ram radiator and hoses in it, cut the hood off (the bolts were all siezed), and drove it all the way home stopping every 75 miles or so to add water since it was still burning it from the cracked head.

Gauntlet. But we did it

By the way, this FJ45 has been off the road for at least 35 years. Since I have owned it it hasn’t driven more then 25-30 miles total before this trip. My friend Dale who decided this was a good idea is just insane.

Does anyone remember the location of the fall Virginia event that was discussed at the raffle? Seemed like a fun event on the water and I wanted to looking into it a bit more. Thanks!

Creek Daze. This is the thread from last year. It's a fun event.

Driving to Uwharrie for CRR I found out that my 80 series in dash cupholder (which is useless for everything but a can) can also be used as a Bojangles honey mustard holder! I think Toyota engineers could see into the future.

I haven't processed photos from the big camera yet but hope to have that done soon.

Major props to the maniacs who wheeled this to/from FL and hard on the trails as well. Proper dirt head crew rolling with @cruisermatt

There also Fall Crawl at the Cove in Gore, VA, but it's not on the water. Much more wheeling opportunity than Creek Daze, though. They'r both great events - I've been to both.

Did anyone else go home and fall asleep for 12 hours before even eating dinner then take a 2 hour nap right after breakfast? Ahhh, the sign of good times behind you! Looking forward to 2027.

Wonderful event John, and everyone else who had a hand in making it happen. I had a good time meeting everyone and wheeling Uwharrie. Even got to shake Georg’s hand, after years and years of help and parts. I’ll even forgive him for being a Jeep guy now…

Was also great meeting the whole contingent from Florida and their glorious collection of hoopties.

As always, I took virtually zero pictures of my own truck but I did get lots of of @jamarquardt22 and @Pacer making everything look easy.

I’m pretty sure I could plant a tree in the amount of dust I’ll be hacking up in the next couple of days.
