So today, I am missing this component for the tire inflation while keeping my AC

The mounting of our compressor is on the right hand side of that engine.

The cost of the setup is...

1/ EA70 compressor$550
2/ D17 mounting kit $475
3/ receiver S206 $99

I getting a new started as well with the new engine!

That's it for now until I go up North with the Troop maybe in the snow.....
Sheesh Tommy! 7 cu/ft per min! With an air tank you could literally be running tools off that unit! 😲

This is the unit that came in

I had an 8+cfm @ 100psi compressor on one of my rigs, it had no trouble running a 1/2” rattle gun.

1HZ cold start tip:

Don’t glow first crank, let it crank 5-10x to build compression.

Glow normal but don’t start.

Glow again and start.

I have done this when it is -40*f and it works well.

Cheers

Tomorrow will be sanding the tables

This was the first oiled pass

This is exciting. I'm also about to start cranking the FT engine. Probably start it before end of year.

I am pretty certain the engine go on the flow bench too but the swap will come after we receive massive amounts of snow ❄️ and the drive to the shop is 600KM ….

what did you use for structure on your cabinets? are they designed for someone to sit on? I'm an A&P and have experience with working with aluminum, have been trying to figure out how to build stuff like that with enough structural strength to sit/stand on.

Cabinet are all made from Aluminium and were design by @AmirTroopyNZ we made the base with aluminium to fix on the walls, floor. Assembly was rivet and I am tapping everything with M5 or M6 to bolt stuff :)
Yes can can sit on it, my dog will live there and we will have a space in the middle for sleeping too when super cold
