Yes, the fact that it is not a tail gate, its different then our setup in the 80. Also, depends on what type of area and weather you camp. I think if you have an awning in the back and a curtain between the two doors, you can have a private protected place and the option do the cooking outside (and also shower). The two trays on the rear doors replace the tail gate, and a second water source coming out where the toilet lives can set you up for option 2 of cooking.
On the toilet note, we use a shovel if we can and if in urban area, we have a collapsible toilet the uses plastic bags. Real estate in here is so precious, that I think the bulky toilet uses too much space for what we use it for...
I'm debating about the design of a console between the two seats. I have a friend that can custom make it from aluminum, but don't want it tall because my wife who does Yoga, moves to the back while we drive to make lunch and also at night before bed time. I also like to come out of bed while she sleeps (not on the popup) and start driving early morning.
Yes, you’re right. The two trays will serve as a cooking space and it’s the area. I haven’t installed my Alu-Cab awning yet. I know it’s pretty all around the cab. This is a must. I think an awning is a must there to have agreement like nice shade where there’s sun and to park your chairs to sit down and eat. I think it’s a must. I didn’t install it yet. I was just I don’t want it in a way in the garage when I’m going to do my swap of my engine and everything. So, and the toilet as as yourself I didn’t use a toilet. I didn’t bring it. Actually, I had no cabinet in my travels all the way through. So, yeah, the toilet I have it. It’s a composting toilet. I’m not sure if I’m going to use it or I’m going to save this space for other utilities. Your blessed to have a wife to cook
