I love it! Wish I knew about it earlier. I already have another snorkel model on the way or I would seriously consider. I love the look. I wonder how long it takes to ship from Russia? $609 plus cost to color match is a bit much though.

Serious question as a snorkel noob: wouldn't this style of snorkel have a problem with the windshield wipers channeling large amounts of water into the snorkel when it rains? And with no way for all that water to get out... into the engine it goes and kills it?

Yeah, I’m no expert at snorkels, but I can’t seriously consider it living in a state that gets snow. I worry that snow would build up and affect things. Seems rain would be an issue too. I would think it really needs to have the vents pointing backwards so it’s not affected by rain and snow as much. But, maybe a snorkel expert can chime in.

There are vents on the outside edge above the door that allow rain water to escape, instead of being funneled down the neck. Unfortunately, it sounds like the plastic “grill” cover for that spot has a tendency to fall out.

And having had a snorkel that points forward, snow and rain isn’t an issue. It would have to be some torrential rain to overwhelm the air intake design, completely fill the air box and hydro lock the engine.

Not quite. Star Valley, about an hour south of the Tetons.
Great spot! I am a wuss when it comes to backcountry sledding due to avalanche danger, but I really enjoy the trails out of alpine.

Yes, it is not worth it to me to risk avalanche. A lot of fun can be had without getting into avalanche danger areas. Luckily my brothers I ride with are like minded.

300 safety tests which are similar to features in 2018+ models.

That baby seat needs a HANS device :o

Which features are similar?
I'm in a 2018 and I've unfortunately used the braking system for vehicles and a pedestrian. Airbags are same. Lane departure doesn't push vehicle back like 300 but my Lexus has it and I'm not a fan.
