Man that looks great, the shops around here told me $125 per axle and they won’t touch 3rd members cause of the gears…..Way harder than I imagined. Why’s there so many partsalso I got the fj60 brake dust shields, apparently the fj62 ones have vents on them to shoot air on the caliper :/ can’t even find the fj62 ones with gills on them but they look identical everywhere else
Check out the progress I had it sand blasted & painted found a spot that did it for $60 bucks for the sand blasting! Amazing job too what do you guys think

Looks great! This was made possible by our buddy BurntToast who got me the calipers…. Finished the Custom copper brake lines into the stainless lines made custom brackets for them & welded it on using the miller welder. Keyword custom lmao
All original brakes, hubs from city racer etc

Love you brother thank you! Saved my bum on thisLooks great!
That’s a great catch thank you brother. I’ll fix that ASAP.I think you’ll want to paint those wheel hubs. They are bare steel.
also you have the brake tee on top of the axle on backwards
Honestly just went with the original design, on the next brake job I might just do exactly what you said lolNice work on that axle! As a guy whos been there done that I applaud you for taking the time to clean it and repaint it.
Question is why did you keep the brake line on the dust shield? You can cut it off and then just run a long rubber line to the caliper to make brake jobs easier.
