Decided to keep the funny mud carpets on top of the original carpets the way the original owner had it so I cleaned them up using some soap not made for carpets came out looking good enough for my shoes, what do you guys think #fj62 #bro

Rust rust baby
Any recommendations on getting rid of rust? I bought a gang of gel spray for tomorrow to soak it in other than that I need a bunch of parts including all brand new brake lines all around they were rusted through good thing is frame is solid it’s just dramatic looking I’m going to clean it all up #fj62 #build #overlanding the caliper was a nightmare to remove btw, has to bang that thing dry and wet until the pins popped out

After about 12 minutes of research chat gpt and some YouTube I purchased the Ironman heavy load lead springs and foam shocks should be here in couple days … last one I ordered from them a month ago never arrived which was the medium load, so let’s see if the heavy load comes

Does anyone know what this thing in? It attaches to the transfer case with couple bolts, and has 2 hoses coming out of it, I’m guessing something to do with 4wd? The hoses are rotten through so I need to change it but curious what this does
That is the vacuum actuator for your 4X4 that is activated when you press the switch on the dash I believe. You can rebuild it or go to a mechanical twin stick setup.

I have two that I removed when I went 90deg with my v8 swap. Shoot me a PM
Its the Trail tailor front and rear coil spring swap with fj80 axles. OME springs, dobinsons mrr shocks, metaltech rear arms, iron man panhards, delta radius arms. Its truly a hodgepodge of different parts at this point haha
