Thanks for the shout Brian. HBIMs are in stock and I'll have more headlight kits in my hands by end of week.

Cool build thread too, I haven't seen this one before. The speaker stuff on the last page reminds me that I need to wrap up a project ... replicating the 62 rear speaker mounts so they fit into 60s ;)

Will this work on the FJ62?
Ty!

I'll definitely be ordering the package when you have em back in stock.

Take your time and use good products … hours of slow work around the truck paint soft water sand with 1000 then buff, haven’t even polished or waxed yet … ;) painted in my garage by hand … f your body shops $20k paint jobs what a rip off, this was all Sherwin Williams with a 3m gun and a home compressor. It’s good enough for a 89 Toyota truck
Good products ….

Man that is a pretty harsh statement. I agree with you what is being charged today is astronomical but the reality of it is people just don't have the ability or time to do it themselves or they would rather not. To do a paint job right is no joke, I get why paint ships charge what they charge with ever increasing costs(environmental, labor, insurance and etc.). Keep up the great work, it's definitely turning out amazing. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thank you, yeah it is harsh words honestly I was very frustrated I called around maybe 20 shops, they all don’t have the time or shoot numbers out that they know people won’t pay, I even had it dropped off at a shop and they did nothing on another one of my trucks for 6 months and then towed it back home, this is all in Los Angeles it’s a nightmare here. You walk into a Rolex store here, there is no watches for sale, you walk into a Porsche shop, there is no 911s for sale, everything sold out in a 20 mile bubble full of 10 million people you know?

But anyways doing it in a garage myself as a real estate broker on my time offs is pretty therapeutical lol just taking my time with it obviously already a year in

It’s coming together nicely. Is it a bit tacky with the grille red? Or what do you guys think? I went with the original lights didn’t wanna do LED or anything weird to it (yet) lol
Also I put a new brake booster and brake cylinder

Your build is amazing, I wonder if you are a bot.

That said, I’m not a fan of the red grill. There is such a thing as too much red.
Go 60 series cream is my suggestion.

Have you driven a 62 before? Reason I ask is because I own one the head lights suck I haven't upgraded mine or anything but you may want to look into the upgraded headlight harness there was a guy making a really nice kit he no longer makes them been a few years my plan was to make what he made for mine and then possibly start remaking the kits.
