Can anyone recommend sway bar bushings? I measured my rear at 23mm and the front was closer to 21mm.

I also found some rust in the c-channels in the back. Would love any recommendations, but I'm thinking I will use some kind of converter, a wire wheel, and an encapsulator. Any problems with that plan?

Ok. After getting some new grade 8 hardware for the new extended sway bar links, I got them installed, but will need new bushings (seems to be the story for this truck). So, I'll be ordering tonight and installing ASAP before I tighten everything down.

How do you like that “off road” floor jack

Love it. My last 62 had 25's and nothing else would get it off the ground.
Low riding on 25’s. Did you have to take speed bumps at an angle?

Just use two short lengths of something long and skinny. Put them side by side in the drum so that they touch the braking surface at 180* from each other. Make a mark across them. Remove from drum. Re-align the marks. Measure end to end. Won’t be as accurate as a caliper but should give you an idea.

Just saw this and may try later, but checked the drums this morning. Definitely less than 1mm lip. However, I still may go ahead and replace the drums just to be safe.

More updates ...

Got the oil pressure gauge "working". As we all know, these are spotty at best, but when I was under the truck, the spade clip going to the oil pressure sender was too big, so wouldn't stay on. Added a proper sized spade clip and reinstalled. Works intermittently just like others.

When I did the lights, I replaced the headlight trim gaskets (NLA) with some Bushwacker fender flare trim. Someone on the forum said it was a solid replacement. I can confirm. Looks really good. Will need to go back later and clean up the old gasket materials, but I love the look.

The heater control lights weren't working, which makes driving at night a challenge. So, replaced with LED and it made a huge difference.

I also created a wire lanyard for my gas cap. Not sure where I saw this, but was tired of deciding where to put my cap when filling up. Drilled a little hole in the retainer clip for the lock and did a crimped wire lanyard.

Has anyone replaced the instrument panel bezel on their 62? Any tips? How big of a PIA is it?

Vintage Teq has a good write up on the gas cap, there's no need for the wire lanyard. The original cap on my FJ62 hooks onto the latch of the gas door. It's magic!
