One of these and time to replace the front cranks seal. Clean the threads, bust the bolt loose, install the sst and off comes the pulley. Remove the old seal, drive the new one home. I always put some permalube on the seal lip and then a light coat of oil on the pulley/race. Also some oil on the nut and snug it all back to 300 some odd ft lbs.

Looks great! Where did you get the 3" downpipe?

Looks like the engine bay cleaned up nicely!

Thanks! Looks better than it did. Thanks for the help today at Tucker's. Rear main seal went on today. I decided to take advantage of the pan being off and just pulled the rear cover to make it easier. Spent a little bit of time cleaning the crank end as well before putting the seal on.

Here is the old 2f carb linkage. I sourced an hj60 cable and bracket the bracket bolted right in place of the 2f bracket and the rod attached to the 2f gasser gas pedal. So no modifications there! The cable bracket even bolted to an existing captive nut in the firewall.

Flywheel back from resurfacing. They blasted the whole thing and even painted the back side.

My fender skirts were toast so I bought some new clips from Toyota and uses my old skirts as templates and cut these out of some epdm rubber
They are available from Toyota but at 40 bucks a piece it was more than I wanted to pay. Took me less than 15 min to cut them out and punch some holes for the clips

I also went ahead and pulled the power steering return line cooler tube. It has two bolts that are not easily accessible with the front radiator support in place. I removed the two front body mounts and was able to get about a half inch of clearance but ended up just removing the front valence. The lower radiator support has foam glued on the bottom of it. The foam was holding moisture like a sponge so I removed it and cleaned it off best I could to prevent future rust. The truck had been sitting in an air condition garage for three days since I washed it and the foam was still soaked.

Went ahead and picked up a return hose for the vacuum pump since it's available. I picked up the high pressure supply earlier and that part number i listed previously. These may not be available any more or much longer I was told it was the only one in North America and came from Canada the parts guy said they needed a Vin number to release it so I borrowed one of our resident mudders Vin numbers :)
