No, that's not me. At my advanced age I am too scared to turn the autopilot off plus the Airbus will tell on you if you get creative.

TECH POST:

I had the classic asshat behind me this morning. He just about hit me as I made the 1-2 shift after a light and naturally he gave me one finger salute as he drove around me. I, of course, being trained to return fire, provided the MUD salute ... :flipoff2: but without the smile ;)
Tech Solution: Vortec
The closer they get to my tailgate, the slower I go. I'm old and mean that way. :hillbilly:
Tech Solution: .45 ACP (close-up), .50 BMG (distance)

John Browning will live forever....

Right on those, but an aft facing mini-gun (like on Apache and Blackhawk helos) would be nice too

Given some other chit going on, I am a little naked today ... usually having Mr. Browning's design of 1911 on my person or nearby. Alas, not today ...

Tech Content: Would a mini-gun run off of 24V? Would the 28 year old stock alternator on a 3B provide enough amps? How many rounds could be carried before the rear axle weight rating was reached?

Vortec .... Not on my deathbed. :flipoff2:
.45 ACP ..... In the door pocket.
Browning .... 12 gauge ... Overhead gun rack.

The good ole boys down here would use the term "lightly packing" to describe my Cruiser.

No offense intended, sir.

Cannot speak to electrical issues or weight of your ammo load or impact on your MWB, but the 75s can carry a good load - awesome capacity.

Asshat Part Deux

Same asshat, different cruiser this morning (SSDD). This same guy would have bought a 2013 URJ200 with 34K miles on it this morning if I had not nailed the brakes hard enough to kick the ABS in. I was in the left lane, he was in the right and apparently decided to go around traffic on the right shoulder. He found shoulder blocked and whipped back across his lane. I saw it happening and nailed the brakes HARD - good for me since he came all the way into my lane clearing my front bumper by no more than 18 inches.

As usual, I provided a MUD Salute :flipoff2: along with the horn.

Tech: The 5.7L V8 under the hood of a 200 lets out a most angry growl at WOT and really sets you back in the seat. The 3B under the hood of the 73 gathers momentum at a much more leisurely pace with its own blend of raucous noises

Hmmmmm Insanity definition kicking in - same road, same time, same asshat. You're clearly the one at fault, Sam. Doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. I suggest you quit going to work.

Alternatively, you could gear up - add a GoPro to the dash and an ARB (if not so equipped) and be a little less aggressive in use of ABS. Tap his ass at 15 mph or so. Cops/ins adjusters/lawyers/courts will call it a draw but you will have the satisfaction of punching him out with Australian steel..... :)

Tech edit: A handsome addition to a "twundy"

Careful, Sam. Odds are he lives around me; most of those people are obviously better than we are and they like to show you when they can't actually tell you. I love it when they expect my 40 to be a lumbering turtle and instead I successfully defend my part of the road. Shoulda noticed the dual exhaust and throaty rumble.

Working on that very thing ;)

That would be enjoyable ... but, I had 4 (yes 4) claims on my insurance in 2014 - 0 collisions or at-faults, 2 hailstorm, 1 I ran over something in the road at night that mangled a trailer, and one medical claim as a result of avoiding an accident (thanks to my health insurance). My insurance company showed me some love last month on my renewal - NOT - 48.5% increase :bang::bang: fawkers!

Using my best Danny DeVito voice (from Twins) - Oh Obviously

Well, I have an ARB and a clean record. How bout I come visit and run you to work for a few days? :)

Pick up Patton on your way and I am sure we can make a real, lasting impression ;)

How soon until your 73 has 'Merican iron under the hood?

Couple of months.....April maybe?

Road Trip!

I'll review Animal House in preparation....:smokin:

Dan obviously. We all learned from Animal House that the person who calls for the Road Trip is the passenger and should start prepping for the trip immediately! :)

Just ask Kent Dorfman. ;)

Bring it on my brothers...

Sounds like the gauntlet hath been tossed.....
