I got all excited that the yellow was ready at powder and I took the grill apart and gave it a good CLR scrub, polish and wax.

Turns out the yellow was wrong. They ordered the correct color but it came to them wrong. So they are going to have to redo it.

Man that pops.

CCOT nails Cygnus on their bezels.

I added a little Penetrol to all the exposed non-painted metal so not will be nicely protected when this goes back on Mustard

That's looking great!

When I did my detail I found that whatever the hell this stuff was (in red) was impervious to anything that wouldn't also remove paint.. And even then I don't think it was going anywhere.

You did a great job at diminishing its presence.

This was the last time I had the truck. I walked away from that red stuff. This time I got a razor blade out ……

This build is amazing. I love your attention to detail. I wish my ‘76 looked this good when I got it in ‘92.
Is there a reason you chose a 70 series rear axle vs a ‘79+ 40 series

It’s what I had ….

Do you feed this guy? He is spending a substantial amount of time at your house.

I hand him things and take a constant beating with all his bitching and grumbling about my s***ty tools.

Mind you 99.2 people surveyed would say my tools are 10/10 but this crazy fool……

I bought myself another $500 worth of stuff today. 😬

Maybe he keeps bitching and grumbling to see how much he can get you spend on tools before he's done :rofl:

She-it, I'd pay him whatever he asks just to watch him!

Why not V-bands?

That hose clamp is just holding it in place. The exhaust will be one piece from the mid-pipe back.

By the way I messaged Man a Fre about the mid pipe being nowhere near right and they told me just bend it a bit and it should fit.

Well, there is zero chance it would have fit a 40. Maybe a 60 with a wider frame but not a 40.

FYI. Love the headers but plan on building them out from there
