We are about 225 miles into this adventure and all is well in the world

Nothing like some fresh artillery to get you going! 💥💥

You guys are driving back to FL together? That’s awesome!

How did the plane get back?

Tell me more!

Aight. I’ll let John tell his side of the story so I’ll keep it pithy.

John has a pilot for his plane so it got flown back to Florida with a killer tail wind after we took off

First stop was Lou’s where we talked like 12 year old girls through lunch. It was great but we spent the time talking Cruisers.

We gutted out pavement for about 100 miles then we hit the muddy roads in DeSoto National Forest.

The north part of the forest is in Camp Shelby which is an Army training base.

We smashed our way through DeSoto to the Pascagoula river at Merrell MS. This road was blocked but we rode around the barriers and made it to the best bridge in Mississippi. These Army training areas are so cool

Okay @wngrog is a much better story teller than me...and photographer as well. Today was the first day I have seen Mustard since right before New Years. I was honestly overwhelmed. The truck is just that great. So great in fact that I drove about an hour and a half tonight on I-10....through Mobile....at night....with howling wind and some rain. This thing is daily driver quality no doubt and it did not disappoint.

More to come. Need some rest and to get back home tomorrow. There are rumors I may have bought another land cruiser.

Still making my way home in Patina. Had a stop off in Hattiesburg to get a Sniper wired and fired on a 1972

Man. These Bluetooth Bose make the world a better place on a 500 mile trip in an FJ40
