i would like to see pics as well but i am not logging into a different site to do so. it isn't that important to me.

Apologies

The link I posted should have directed you to an ad I had already posted with a forum I am constructing that should be free to view without having to log in. I'm looking into the issue and should have resolved shortly.

With respect to the question about the 61' being the first year Toyota came out with the 40 series cruiser... Yes, 1961 (As far as I am aware) was the first year Toyota introduced the 40 series cruiser. This truck is virtually identical to the 1960 FJ25 model but is not a 25 which is what makes it unique.

Wheel question:
The wheels that come with the cruiser are steel original rally wheels. I do not have the hub caps.

are the side rear view mirror mounts OEM? they look like repurposed door hinges... just curious

Oh yeah. The side view mirror brackets were custom built by Orange County Choppers. They found these vintage gate hinges and thought they would go nicely on the build....

The pieces that I don't have for the truck (But may have access to) are:
Window frame vent cover
side view mirrors
Soft top

What happen to the gas filler opening neck? The opening has been closed and I don't see the filler neck. Do you have the correct front turn signals? Tail lights and tail light brackets? Pintle hook and eyebolts for the safety chains? Those are not off a 61. Rear view mirror on the windshield is the wrong mirror. If your interested the driver's side is the side that got a mirror, passenger's didn't have one. Do you have the soft top bows? To my knowledge no onr is making those. One company makes the replace replacement canvas at a cost of $3000. The other place that was making them is having trouble and won't count on getting one anytime soon. Do you have the front and rear seats for this cruiser. Not to easy to find if you don't. The rear junp seats were 61 only. If you have them you should post pictures of all the rear parts. This early cruisers are hard to find parts for. I guess I'm old school when someone say it's a 100% everything that came with it should be there including teh hub caps, trouble light, owner's manual, jack and complete tool kit. IMHO you about 70% from what I've seen so far. It looks like a every nice base to start with but still needed a lot of rare and very hard parts to find.
