What were these? frame horn question (1 Viewer)

I was checking out the front end of my cruiser in preparation for adding recovery points or an aftermarket bumper and I noticed what look like cut off brackets on the inner side of each frame horn. Any idea what these were from? I am assuming that they weren't factory.

Not factory. Could have been lots of things. My first guess would be for some sort of flat tow set up.

If you're looking to go with the factory recovery points they bolt to those 12m holes on the underside of the frame.

I'd guess winch mounts.
