    AC line leak help

The AC lines below my passenger door are showing signs of leaking. I took off the insulation and the brackets and could not find the source of the leak. I took it to a local shop to have the AC recharged after replacing the AC condenser and they also could not find a leak and said the system...

Temp Gauge creeping when idling and AC warming

The weather in Texas is solidly around 105 in the afternoons right now. When my truck is idling, the AC starts to blow warm and the engine temperature starts creeping up. Coolant is just a little bit below the full line and when I’m driving, the AC blows cold all the time. Any recommendations?

    AC high/low pressures

AC hasn’t been working great in my ‘05 LX so I took it to a mechanic I know. Low side is 60 high side is 500. Anything I can check or do I just need to get ready to buy a new compressor? I’m at work and haven’t had time to research anything and it’s killing me.

Weird AC Amp - Idle Up Problem

So I replaced all of Mudhorn's AC parts that touch refrigerant last summer but never got the idle up to work. I had increased the idle to trigger the AC clutch and adjusted the RPM potentiometer to prevent any rapid cycling. I jumped back into this summer and what I found is that I have 12V on...

96' FZJ80 automatic AC blower resistor

Hey guys, first time posting as a fresh owner of an fzj80 from 96 with 200k miles :) After successfully overhauling all technical debts (already did steering gearbox and brake system) I wanted to tackle the electronics, first item on the list being my AC. I found out that since the blower...

    AC Controls question

Bought this ‘02 about 3 months ago. The AC will freeze you out, but only blows cold on the lowest setting. If I bump it up at all it will blow warm air. Heat works as it should. Any ideas how to fix this?

    Weak Condenser Fan?

With this heat, at idle, my A/C is not cooling sufficiently. I suspect my Condenser fan may be weak- it seems to cool much better when moving. The condenser fan is original (from 2000) and I know no way to test the Condenser fan, outside of replacing it and hoping it cools better. There don't...

Denso AC compressor tale of woe...

My wife drives a 2002 LX 470, and it has 134,000 miles. Last September, the air conditioning quit and obviously that needed to be fixed. Of course one option would be to take it to a dealership, but I could just picture them salivating at what they were going to charge me. The problem was the AC...
