Selling my 2009 Lexus GX 470.
Works great, no modifications. I replaced the back emblems and put a new under guard on.
Everything works great. A few hail dents you can see in the photos, and minor scratches to be expected from a 2009.
I'm the third owner, I bought from the 2nd owner in Denver, Colorado in 2020. He bought it certified pre-owned form Kuni Lexus in Denver.
Up for sale is my 2005 Lexus GX470. 226k miles. 4.7L V8, full time 4x4 with low range and locking center differential. Rust free. Adjustable air ride suspension in the rear, and adjustable ride shocks all around. Both work fine. Moonroof, power everything,
Memory seat and heated front seats. Leather seats, rear seat entertainment (DVD player), navigation, Mark Levinson sound system. Mechanically sound. CEL is on due to needing catalytic converters, though driveability is not affected. Newer tires, and 2022 4runner wheels installed. Clean CarFax, though rear bumper has been repainted. This is a well-maintained Lexus GX 470 with 254,000. I inherited the car from my step-father, who either bought it new or with very low miles. My step-father and I have always had this serviced at Nalley Lexus Atlanta. He was very diligent in maintenance and changing fluids, and I have carried on that tradition. There are some cosmetic issues that you would expect to see with a car this age. There is a ding in the rear bumper and the center/third brake light cover is broken, but the light works. There is also some paint chipping on the hood.
The car is in good shape and has been my daily-driver. I have loved it, but my wife is ready for something more modern and fuel efficient. Nalley recently has replaced the power steering...
First time selling a vehicle. Through a comedy of events, we went from a 100 series TLC and this GX470 to adding an Infiniti QX56 and a 200 Series LX570 in a 4 week timeframe. Something has to go, and unfortunately, this one didn't make the cut - mainly b/c the 100 series is built up and will be our son's vehicle in a couple years.
So, that said, I'm not sure the best way to go about posting info on the GX, so fire away with any questions and I'll answer as best as possible. A few things that come to mind....
100% of its life has been spent in the Dallas area.
Routine service performed at Sewell Lexus, larger expenses (timing belt, brakes, etc.) done at smaller shops that don't kill you with labor costs.

My daughter has a 2008 GX470 with a broken timing belt that she would like to sell whole. It started life in Arizona then to Western Colorado now in Montana for the last 3 years. Little to no rust and in pretty good shape for a 15 year old car. It was recommended that we start at $7000 and go from there. I’m not sure if that is even in the ballpark but let me know if you are interested. The car is really dirty in the pictures as we live two miles down a dirt road.
Texas car, most of its life it’s been dealership maintained with records, I bought at 194k and was going to take to Mexico but life happened and now those plans are changed. Because I was going to a very southern and rural part I have replaced a good amount of parts (no Lexus parts down there). I have pampered this car and will include the left over oem filters I have and 5 oem tires/rims (used Michelin tires).
The subwoofer needs repair at high volume it’s obvious, after installing the 5 toyos/rims the tpms sensors went out and the map error occurred. Other than that and regular wear this car is impressive.
