Hello all and thank you for reading. I am ready to switch things up again (I do this too often)
This is my daily driver and wheeler, it was built by the previous owner out of Denver, Co. It drives like butter and is a pleasure to cruise in. In no way does it feel like it has this many miles.
Details:
- 2004 GX with 266,000 miles
- Rear 8” FJ Cruiser ELocker and Axle
- 4:88 Nitro Front, Yukon Rear Gears
- Timing Belt and Water Pump serviced at 22x,000 miles
- Bilstein Front Coils with Bilstein Shocks all around, Toytec super flex rear coils
- SPC Upper Control Arms
- RSG Front Coilover Top Hats
- RSG Body Mount Chop
- New lower control arm White Line Poly Bushings
- New Powerstop drilled/slotted brakes
- 34” Falken Wildpeaks
- New Radiator (Old one started leaking)
- New Fan Mounting Bracket
- New Alternator
- New Steering Rack, Tie Rods, CV Axles
- Recent fluid flushes all around
- New wheel bearings
- Custom front bumper
- Badlands winch
- Very Dark Window Tint
Pros:
- Drives extremely well
- No bad rust
- Wheels extremely well
- Mostly sorted out
Cons:
- Needs ABS Actuator O Ring Seal as the abs pump continuously cycles. Have driven it almost 10k miles like this
- Airbag light comes on sometimes and goes away
- Rear Diff Gears were not installed to spec (bearing preload) so there is some whining when applying throttle at highway speeds. Once again, have driven and wheeled it this way for 10k + miles. Previous owner had said that he was told “its normal for re-gears” which isn’t true.
- Pinstripes in the paint
- Wheeled by yours truly
- Rear bumper needs to be completed.
Asking $13,500 and will accept trades for a 80 Series Landcruiser, FJ Cruiser, Built Tacomas, Land Rover Discovery, etc.
