My father recently passed his 1997 Toyota Limited forerunner with 100,000 miles on to me and we got it up on the jack and noticed these rods are separated from the vertical connector on both the front left and right sides.
Steering-wise, the car feels fine to me, but I know next to nothing about these vehicles.
