Hi all,

I know the Americans do not have to many diesels, but you might have a look.

Has to do with the EDIC, fuel relay, cut off etc.

I'm rebuilding my 24 volt and came across these 2 plugs. I thought I have all the parts, but apparently not.

What type of swith, relay or other am I missing?

Thanks all,

Bart

Hi Bart and welcome to the Mud,
perhaps you should go to the specific Diesel section of this forum.

Hi Bart - are you looking to get your BJ back to original or get it driveable? All the Bs I've had were engine swaps so they either ran from an FJ loom or had a primitive loom built up. The heat start was just a remote starter solenoid screwed to the firewall and a pushbutton on the dash to work it, you've got pre and after heat that way.
Edic was an option, I think that.s what you're showing us - if you have a manual stop you wont need it.
Here's a pic out of my chassis book
OR they may be the glow plug wiring

Yeah, I think I miss the Fuel Control Motor, as I have the relay next to dashboard glove box ... But to find a 24v EDIC motor is like a needle in a haystack (in EU) ... ;(

Hi there,
the two plugs are for the EDIC motor. As previous replies suggest the EDIC motor may have been removed in favour of a manual device.
the thicker black cable near your fingers appears to be the glow plug rail feed.
Good luck with everything!
