I saw this truck in Lakeview, Oregon earlier this month and left a note on it with interest. The guy called me today and said he'd like "around $7k" for it. It's in pretty rough shape and has been sitting for 3 years. I have two pictures, but they're too big to post right now. Email me if you'd like to see them: derekshetterly@clearchannel.com He also said it's OK to call him with questions. His name is Chris and he can be reached at: 541-892-6864
Hey, too much for my blood but it was cool to see one here in Southern Oregon. Don't know much about it, 160000kms on the clock +/-, white recently repainted(you could tell by the bad masking job), interior in good shape, AC, shackle lift, interior looked good. Definitely had some rust repair in the front fenders some peeking throug on the bottom of front doors, right hand drive. Underside was by no means clean. Mirrors mounted on front fenders, early 80s or late 70's. Here is the bummer, I didn't get the seller's number when I heard the price was $29K. Not worth my money. No pics either, rig is located on HWY 62 about 4 miles East of Medford, Oregon. Info available from the car parts store it is parked in front of.

FOR SALE: 1983 Land Cruiser BJ42 Diesel
Engine: 3B, 3.4 litre Diesel 5 speed transmisson power steering Mileage: (that quit 10 years ago) but not many long trips, mostly on Vancouver Island. Location: Victoria, B.C. Included: Engine & Body Shop Manuals Electrical: 24 Volt (2 batteries) except headlights The 40 Series was produced from 1961 to 1984. This is the classic Land Cruiser. It is a two door with removable hardtop. I am the original owner and purchased the vehicle from Metro Toyota in Victoria. I find I have little time or the money to fix it up so I have decided to let go to a better home. This is the next to last year that the BJ42 was made and I suspect there are people out there who would be eager to get it and fix it up. I am still using the truck as my only...

HI Guys, I just bought this 45 about a month or so ago, I was going to do a ground up restoration, but I decided to buy a BJ74V instead. Anyway, the body on the truck is the best part, it is in veyr good restorable condition, not like most of the rusty trucks we see here in Canada. The nasty part is that the chassis and running gear is all 1971 ford bronco. I know - why would someone do that - i have no idea as I just bought it for the body. The 302 does run and the whole driveline is in very good shape. The tires are near new and are in great condition. Oh, the idiots also shortened the box by about a foot. $1,900.00 CDN dollars takes it. email me at lshobie@yahoo.com for further info please. Regards Louis...
I am looking for a non-running FJ45 LPB (long wheel base version) that is basically the body and frame. Here is what I want to do: I have a 1982 BJ60 that is rusted out but only has 160k miles and runs great. I would like to take the 3B/4 speed out and put it into a 45 pickup. I have a front disc brake front end out of a 77 FJ40 and a full float rear end out of an Australian 45. I basically want a diesel 45 pickup that will see light hauling. I will do a frame off and do it up really nice and use it as a light hauler/daily driver. I also plan on turboing the 3B. I'm ready to start the project as soon as I acquire the 45. So, anybody out there have what I am looking for or know where I can find one? I am located in Colorado and...
This is a 1965 LV with Colorado Title. Body is off the frame and the doors are off the body. The doors have been taken off and stored inside. One door has been taken to bare metal and primed. No big issues with the doors, except that two inside door handles are broken. The front floor boards are rusted with dime size holes. Frame has some surface rust but is solid. Front fenders are trashed but would be salvagable by someone with skills. Some body work required. No engine, transmission or t'fer case. $1000.00 as is and where is--East of Denton, Texas. Contact me at dwmillslaw@comcast.net or cell phone 817-692-6391. See Photos at https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=38589
1980 BJ44 with 3.2L diesel for sale. This truck is a JDM right hand drive. It is registered and safety inspected for British Columbia. Odometer reads 142KM. I just had the injectors and diaphram replaced. The valves were set and a compression test done.#1-440, #2-440, #3-435, #4-445. This truck runs and looks good. Shifts gears and goes in and out of 4 wheel drive very smoothly. There is not very much rust on the body and the frame is A1. As far as I can tell this is the original paint and no body work has been done. All glass is in good condition. I have left the original 24V radio in the dash but there is a 24-12V convertor with a separate AM/FM cassette in the glove compartment. It is also equipped with air conditioning but no power...
This is killing me becuase I really want this truck: http://tinyurl.com/5hny5 It's a 66 FJ45 pickup. I know the owner. He's asking $8k which is a little steep. I saw it the other day. He fired it up and it sounds really smooth. The F was rebuilt by Toyota. It's got a Weber carb on it. PTO winch. Rust isn't too bad. Probably blast the bed and paint it. There is a hole in the tail gate. I just can't do it. Kind of sick about it but I just don't need another project/money pit right now. Chris (crying in my beer ) :o
Hi Looking for an excellent condition (willing to pay $$$, I don't have the time for restoration), low mile (100k or so) BJ42 with a 3B. Prefer a rig without rust, in perfect working order, pretty much stock though limited lifts and bigger wheels are ok, just nothing monster (32's or smaller). My 1987 FJ60 is in good condition with 245k miles. Light silver ext., grey/blue int. (My fav combo). Recent valve adjust, K&N, Accel super coil, new Bosch Platinum plugs, Bosch 8 mm wires, 2.5" cat-back exhaust (Man-A-Fre). Engine runs fine, though not the smoothest idle, but is pretty strong on acceleration. 4 spd. tranny is starting to show its age--a little sticky, but functions well. T-case can pop out of gear on the trail. Truck...
