This may be old but could not find anything.I have a 70 with the stock rear heater well the moter went out.Gonna take it out in the snow in a couple weeks does anyone know a fan that will go in and mount easy.I haven't even looked at it yet other than try to turn the moter.Any help would be great
 
keep an eye on the for sale section, they pop up every now and agin
 
There's at least a 50-50 chance you could revive the motor with a careful disassembly and some electrical contact cleaner.

Yup. In fact, it could just be that the ground wire/bolt is corroded.
 
Or could be worn brushes/commutator. At least take he motor apart and check the brushes (replace if too short), Clean/dress the commutator to remove any grooves and the carbon arching, and lube the top and bottom motor bearings. Also as suggested check all connections for corrosion.
