No problem.

The small trim is super easy. The new one comes with its own clips.

Pull the old one off. The plastic clips are likely going to stay on the body. Just use a small pick to pry them off and toss them.
Line up the new piece of trim under the window and adjust the small
Plastic clips to match the holes on the body. Once aligned snap them into place. Those were the easiest out of all of them.
I bet, I did my doors and the fronts were not bad just had to remove the mirrors to get the belt molding out.

I fueled up the truck since the current fuel in it is around 3 years old. Took the truck to get a state inspection and got it registered. Been making runs to the landfill with it. Also today I got started with Simple wooden 3 piece storage and sleep platform. The idea is that I can configure the storage and sleep system to work with 1, 2 or no rear rear seats. This will make it more versatile in case my sons want to ride with me or not. I have the option of removing or adding the rear seats. I should be done with it in a few days.

I have two major trips planned for this year. One to Texas and another to Colorado and Utah later in the year. Both are over 3000 miles.

I already have most of the parts on hand or have already been ordered. The hard part will be having the diffs regeared since it requires the most work and time.

1. 4:88 Gears

2. Replace complete exhaust and 02 sensors

3. replace rear elocker harness ( my stand alone version stopped working for some reason)

4. LED lightbulbs in headlights.

5. Fix seat gears for the millionth time.

6. Replace Brake booster and Master cylinder

7. Lower t case gears maybe

8. Update dual battery system.

9. Replace winch cables, add remote control and new winch line.

10. I really want to reseal both engine oil pans and replace the front main and oil pump seals but might have a shop do that maybe.

11. Replace OME shocks on all four corners with new ones.

12. Going to also add some window wind and rain deflectors on all four doors.

this is mostly for my notes. I’m currently getting the truck loaded up to go camping for a few days at our clubs annual event, the Carolina relic run.

First big trip of the year is done. 3500 miles from NC to TX back to NC. next up is to try to continue to tighten up the on road characteristics of the lx450. I’m going to upgrade both the front and rear sway bars with heavier versions to hopefully help with body roll. I’m also replacing the OME shocks on all four corners since the current ones are more than 10 years old.

I have seen a company that sells quick releases for the sway bars for our vehicles. Can somebody let me know where I can find some?

Here is the finished rear sleep system. I just realized I never posted a finished photo. I love it. I can’t believe I waited so long to finally put one in. I love how easy it is to sleep and Cary all my crap.

The Baja rack I shave has had the powder coat failing for a few years. I finally sanded down all the rusty spots and covered ut with POR15 Then sprayed over it with satin black. Hopefully this holds up for a few more years before having to do it again.
The rack is not necessarily needed bother than to cary my Thule storage bin witch I really like.

I have that same Thule; I love it. It's never seen a ski.

FWIW, 21-76 has instructions for replacing that sagging net on the back of the seat. Just sayin'.

Just doing simple and much needed upgrades.

Wanted to make sure I added a spacer to my new heavy duty front sway bar so it doesn’t contact the front driveshaft.

Also went ahead and ordered bump stop spacers both for the front and rear.

Braided brake hoses will be replacing the stock lines ( frame to axle) not sure why I never upgraded these 3 hoses when I upgraded the brakes.
replacing brake fluid for good measure

Oem parts replacements-
main seal on the steering column.
throttle cable assembly
