I bet. I had one for my 06 golf way back in the day. When it worked it was awesome but took me awhile to realize it was tripping the breaker cause regular extension cord couldn't pull enough amps. Glad this one runs on diesel.

This option is reasonable to consider just an aftermarket remote switch. Amazon has a couple for roughly same price. No idea of the range on these. Amazon had one with a 328’ range...

For me the webasto is number one importance. December to Feb in calgary has some brutal temps. It's not my daily anyway so remote start is down the line. I do like the idea of the Bluetooth smart controller.
