Yeah it looks like 31. Thats the US part with a chrome rail attached to it. Apparently there was one that was just rubber sold overseas... that allowed for the door panel to be removed and a smaller lower door panel that exposed the paint to be installed (pic below). Kevinmrowland has a part number for it but of course its not available anymore. Hopefully i can find one to send you to recreate.

Does this post solve your issue?

Yes they are.

But they are different if you had a specific spec non-US 6x.

The door panel did not go all the way up. There was metal door frame then the sweep.

Very similar to the 7x style.

Wow. That's great. I still need these 5 pieces:

Lower liftgate weatherstripping: 6828190A00
Upper liftgate weatherstripping: 6828290A00
Rear passenger door small window weatherstripping right: 6818890A00
Rear passenger door small window weatherstripping left: 6818990A00
Front hood seal: 5338190A00

Headed to the parts storage. Just PM'd my cell. Excited.

Confirmed the following:

68281-90A00 (still in original plastic)
68282-90A00 (still in original plastic)

681889-90A00 (not sure if this is the same but mine reads: 68188-60010?)

missing: 68189-90A00

Just installed and on the truck: 53383-90A00, 53381-90A00 - although I have both of these coming to put in my spares collection, just not sure of arrival date.

Going to order 68189-90A00 (@beno ) if available; if not, I'll check my other sources.

Let me know. . .

Shane

OK great. If it works for you, I would like to borrow 68281-90A00 and 68282-90A00. I can get started with these plus the two that I have, and I'll try to track down the missing ones as we go.

@Racer65 As someone that works on my fair share of 62s I applaud your efforts. I will certainly be a customer.

Ok - not a problem but will need to talk to you before sending them. Also, contacted another source - they're available but expensive.

68189-90A00: ~110.00
53383-90A00 & 53381-90A00 ~65.00 & 58.00, respectively.

Shane

And since I'm paranoid, count me in as a customer for a full set of whatever you have to offer.

Just out of curiosity, what is your business? Are your a plastics/rubber manufacturing company? To what degree/extent do you intend on making FJ60 parts? Will you go beyond weatherstripping?

Check out the Unobtainium thread in the 40 Series forum. Rubber and weatherstripping is our core competency, but as you can see we have the supplier network to do a lot more than that. You can take a look at my website for our current offerings (there are several tabs). Again, almost everything is 40 Series focused at the moment. We can certainly expand this conversation beyond weatherstripping. What other high priority 60 Series items are top of mind?
