Would remember this one if I see it in person. Would rare to see a 75/76 mustard color FJ40 with those awful rear wheel well openings.

I see this one alot in this area. Looks decent except those rear wheel wells.
If the rear was some think of coil spring setup that arched wheel well might do some good with long travel. But with leaf springs would hit the back lower part of the wheel opening long before it hit the top of the rounded arch. It's just wrong.
Agreed, I’m not sure what looks worse - that arch or the typical big tire cut out that mimics the original wheel well.

I saw like a 1976 fj4x in mustard yellow with a 3rd door it was on a delivery truck on indian school road near the 101 sorry no picture couldnt get my phone out fast enough, has an enclosed bed/end to it never seen one of those before. Its was like the picture attached
Mid 65 to 9/67. Something tells me closer to mid 65.
