Vacation spotting in south Florida, talked with the owner, Hector, who has really restored this rig nicely to become a daily and a mud toy.... one, mild lift, reverse shackles, winch, leds, original oem bows, ac....

he previously has restored a rusty 1970ish, and a 62.

Cool softtop from Columbia, looked to be vinyl...

Glad I ran out of the store to chat with him, hopefully he’ll make an appearance to be in the running for the iron-butt award at this years relic run...

EDIT: luckily I was wearing an fj40 tee shirt so he didn’t think I was a total wack job.... or did he... yikes

Does anybody else remember washing their parents cars as a kid and using a special whitewall cleaner? Really turned that red/purple ‘88 Grand Caravan woody into a looker.

I still use Wesley's Bleche-Wite on all my tires. It is great for blackwalls too.
