I think if you leave the provisions to add a light, whether it be $$$$ version or cheap chinese sticky LEDs that is up to the user and you have given them what is needed.

The issue with the light is two fold: 1) I can make mounting provisions and 2) I can pre-terminate the connector so that it plugs right into the same glovebox light connector.

I use these under dash and in cargo areas. They are small and easy to mount / hide. They would be a good option for in the glove box. I was actually going to replace my glovebox light with one.

Re fuse...oem is cool, but three fuses is too few and blue sea is readily available.

I am in for a box. I have a 62 but the ECU is not in the stock location so no worries.

I am also interested in at least one box currently, odds are I'll need more in the future. I put GM computers a little lower than the original in the 62 series.

Yeah I'm making like 20 or so of these. Not 500. Economics of scale is not in my favor on this project. I'm making it because I said I would and because I need/want one for myself. At $75, based on the stuff I've developed in the past, I would maybe approach breakeven. Sorry but I'm not making those mistakes anymore.

So MAYBE make a plain box with locking door and call it a day? Might that keep the costs down? People would be able to pretty easily add any extras they might want to... Just sayin'
