If you don't have a random connector bin then find an old relay and pull it apart and solder them to a short length of decent wire.

Done.

I pulled all the relays, 1 by 1, in search of this "phantom" power window relay.

Oh ya, workin on a 1991....

Did not find the PW relay.. The windows still worked with the key on regardless of any of the relays behind the kick panel that I pulled. I do not have any schematics to look at. Does anyone have any info on the location of the PW relay on a 1991 FJ80 so that I (and OTHER 3F-E owners) could be included in this modification.... Please....

Yes, this can work on a 91. The relay is the "power main relay". By jumping pins 2-4 the windows and sunroof will work with the key off. I changed mine to work with the key in the ACC position by changing the logic to the relay. Did this several months ago and it is a great mod.

I attached a picture of the relays in the driver's kick panel for you.

Since my 80 can sit for up to a moth without starting, if I ran that jumper wire through a switch, would that stop the parrasitic amp draw when the switch is turned off and the vehicle not in use for a long period?
 
Done this on my 97. The kids say it doesn't work on the rear window switches. Works fine all around up front. Does this seem right? Any way to extend this to rear seats?
 
Just did this last night with required parts I happened to have. Super easy and cool. Thanks LCPhil.
 
one of the best mods ever .. did last Saturday and works nice despite my old hard window guide rubbers didn't help if the alt isn't charging ..

Based on the EWD all windows should work. Maybe the kids were F'n with dad, did you verify?

I kindly asked them to retest but they mumbled something like: "f-€k off old man; we don't work for you!"

I was pretty shocked.

I'll test it myself in a few hours.

Which pins do you jump to make it work in ACC position??

Being the main power relay what else get energized along with the window and sun roof?

Back switches may be a bit worn. Got one to go down a bit but not up. I have already replaced the master switch with the eBay/SwitchDoctor unit (very happy).
