I opened the box yesterday, but left it all inside. mine looks just like that. i was really hoping it would have had the grey winch rope like their ad, for that whole stealth name thing... The yellow rope makes me think home depot poly rope thats rated for about 12 lbs. LOL

I'll decide if im going to sink it behind the bumper or put it in a cradle. I like Stan's setup he had on his FJC.

I've got other more important things i need to work on first, but its here.
 
Weird, even on TJM's website it says the rope is milspec black. Not a deal killer by any means for me, but I was considering going with 9k.....might just get the big one although I doubt I will need something that large.

Also says the 12,500k weighs 10 pounds less than the 9k. Decisions.....
 
Yes, I'd double check the length to make sure you're comfortable with the thread engagement on the factory bolts with the plate thickness added in there but they should fit.

and I think my winch came with the bolts to mount to the plate.
