Went to a Father’s Day car show in Cape Cod, MA - 400 + mile round trip. Didn’t win a trophy, but talked to a lot of people who owned FJ40s at one point and for many the truck the learned to drive with. They all jumped at the chance to sit in the FJ40 and remember their early days. Great fun!

The Cruiser is doing amazing well! It is nice to just hop in and drive

Not suprising at all. I know the guy who built it. He's kinda OCD, but he does good work. Hope to see it in person on the trails one day.

Photo dump for this week bumming around Colombia until my ship sails. 1. Those cardboard carrying guys in the parking lot trying to keep my interior cool 😎. 2. Just a girl in pretty dress styling by her jeep. 3. A crazy Tesla driver thinks I’m not going fast enough and tries to cut me off from the shoulder of the road. 4. My mechanic’s helper cleaning up my Truck before delivery. 5. Stopped by a friends shop to see what he was working on . Always fun and adventure here in Colombia 🇨🇴. Going to miss this place.

Awesome trip!

No issues at all with the spacers. I've driven all over Colombia with them installed. I had rubbing issues with the tires. What's been your experience, thanks
The small slip on spacers have a tendency to let the wheels work loose.
If you check your lug nuts often you will probably be ok. Just hate to see you run a wheel loose and have issues after having all the work done.

I have a set on mine as well, there must have been a rubbing wheel on it before I got it yrs ago. These were the wheels it had. After switching to disk brakes up front I might need to recheck and see if it’s a problem. I have removed the wheels a few times for other installs and have not noticed them loosening but possibly not enough miles in between removals and reinstallation

Thank you. I do check the lug nuts often and I sincerely appreciate your guidance and concern. Have a great weekend my friend. Cheers!

My son is on the road a lot for work…mostly the shore areas. He send s me pics of land cruisers when he sees them… this was in northern Monmouth county

I've have run those type of spacers for decades with no problems. They're no different than a slip on rotor for the rear disc conversion. I used to run aftermarket wheels with a 4" backspace and the 1/4" spacer allows the wheel to clear the tre. I typically tighten the wheel normally, then drive about 50 to 100 miles and tighten them again. I never found a loose lug.

Depending on the rim, an extended lug nut will solve any doubts of losing thread engagement for the 1/4” spacer.
