I am on Argentine Pass, Colorado today, and I will heading over Guanella Pass tomorrow to spend a few nights in Grant working on T-shirt designs of Cruisers for the store.
My 9 year old loves to fish. So we loaded the blue truck and went fishing.
And before that, we took great white (dad’s 2000 tuned F250 PSD 6 Spd) plus the 40 and trailer to the scales. First heavy tow since we did gauges and the chip on the 7.3, pulls better than stock unloaded with 7k of trailer and rig now that it’s tuned.

Yellr is headed to Sequoia National Park this week. My same general theme of “let’s see how far this old thing will take me.”
Taking the scenic route, naturally, with brewery stops along the way. Because if you’re going to drive an FJ40 hundreds of miles, you should at least have a reason to stop every couple of hours.
So far: Sacramento → Sequoia, with a little beer tourism and a lot of questionable decision-making along the way.
There is one 4x4 route in the NP and will hit that tomorrow.
This is a good beer in the cooler temps
40’ diameter most of the way up. Boggling
