It's on my watch list for this week. Can't wait to check it out.
I did a 1,200-mile trip through Wyoming in August in the FJ40. I'm ready to go back for more.

Better shoot for early September, even then you could get snow!
Not sure my trip will be much wheeling. I am planning to be in Yellowstone and the Tetons wildlife viewing and photo ops. The rut will be in for a lot of animals and it is a good time to see the action and moose are down from the higher elevations. Grizzlys seem to be busy eating Huckleberrys rather than humans, black bear too. But as stated, I have been snowed on twice out there in September, so that would make things interesting. If you guys get close to Jackson, I may try to hitch a ride for a day. Looks like I will be flying in. Not sure what type of rental I will have, but they are always the best off-road vehicle!!! Get the damage waiver!
I had my 80 out there in April after our Moab trip.

Yellowstone will be awesome then, probably lot less crowded too.
