The :princess: gave me the go-ahead for the weekend, also, Brock moved the SFLC meeting to the following weekend. So I'm in! I'm game for chipping in on a cabin or camping if there aren't any available.

looking like I'm in also...
in a cabin

I only asked if anyone had been because of what i think the trail conditions will be. While it does kinda have that old school Tellico feel i miss it also feels like a small offroad park geared towards towards drawing in the rock bouncer crowds. If its wet as it is right now I dont see Landcruisers doing to much. Even the easy trail out to the overlook would be a winch fest. It was dry the first day I was there then it dumped most of the night and things got bad quick. Full throttle assaults up somee not so bad hill. Im not trying to be that guy but id really watch the weather closely. I don't even see anything short of a full blown hill killing buggy excessing the trails to get to camp if its rained a lot. Im planning on going back because I enjoy primitive camping and a good fire. But it will likely be close to summer after things have dried substantially.

These trails are not old, so they have a lot of top soil/muck so you are right on the rain thing.

Looking more and more like I will not be able to make this.

Any update on the cabin,
I'm in

We are looking at a few options....it's a good thing we are gonna be close to tenn, not sure it's legal in SC. Just kidding guys, Marshall's got a couple options, think he's going to post it up on Monday.

Is the plan to stay in a cabin onsite? They list one that sleeps "a minimum of 9" and 2 stream side cabins that look like 4 beds. I can't find anything that lists amenities except for some tiny pics of the larger cabin. I'm out if it's tent camping in the cold.

Sarah @FJ Junkie and I are interested but have some other options for that weekend so we're trying to think it through.

So the two nice cabins have been booked out for a while. They own an RV park right across the street. They have basically mobile homes for rent at about 170 a night. Nothing nice. I'm at a tossup on what to do. We just had a week of rain and this weekend it's going to rain again. Do we take the chance and just go see what it's all about or do we wait and get a nicer cabin when it's a little warmer and less chance of wetness. We can always fall back on going to Country fried weekend in Dahlonega, Ga. I've been doing that for 3 years. It's camping. Last year it was crazy cold. But even with the cold we stayed warm and my kids had a blast.

Need some ideas.

I'm looking forward to events like this but I can't make this one.

I'll be riding the Broxton Bridge Dual Sport down in Erhardt, SC that weekend.

I don't mind a camper/mobile home as long as its warm.
However, I'm not really in for a mud fest.
I would like to go before GSMTR, though.
