Oh, I also finished up my doors today. I decided that I'm just going to paint them with the same shake can bed liner that I did my bumpers and sliders with.

For the non fb ppl I put different tires on my 40 today it needs bigger tires but I'm pleased for now how it turned out.

Installed new BumpItOffroad tube bumper... this shot is during my test fit before spaying the bedliner and winch install. It fit perfectly.

Installed some toytec lower links and front HD bash plate that Kevin donated to me

He and Lee's paint choices made me decide to paint them up white before installing

Also organized tools in the truck, put some parts and equipment together for this coming weekend

Nothing.... :-(
Joey's still working on it at NST.

Finished winch install. Went for a ride on around old Mandeville and the lakefront.

looks good

Got a call from Cassie the other night saying she felt a wobble on the interstate and that her truck wont move anymore. She sent me this saying, "I think I found the problem"

I was able to slide the axle shaft back into place and find another bolt for the lower balljoint, but now its popping and has severe vibrations under load. Also, it sounds like the differential is in a bind when shifting from drive to reverse or vice versa. I'm putting a new axle in today. I just hope it isnt the diff too.

Oh yeah, Cassie may deliver the baby today too, so thats fun. She also didnt have a major death inducing accident from a lower ball joint coming apart at high speed, so thats also good.

dunno, I'm just glad the other bolt hung on. I put a s*** ton of loctite on them and torqued them down good.

I'm glad y'all are okay!

Just stay away from Livingston parish until 5 am... If I deliver a baby tonight you owe me a hell of a beer.

No baby tonight, the doc says the baby is ready but Cassies body is not, so they are gonna let her go no longer than next Friday. They already scheduled the inducement if it hasnt happened by then.

It was the axle after all, slapped a new one on there and its all good.

Glad to hear! As far as the baby and wife, Haley was the same way. Don't rush it, SLEEP WHILE YOU CAN!

drove the FJ to the dealership to find him a replacement. buying a used tacoma or something for a work truck. and letting the FJ be the garage queen/weekend warrior that he was meant to be.

I've said I would do this a couple times... Then I realize that I'll just start modding the taco

Vicious cycle
