Are you going to stretch the rear axle back any from stock for more wheelbase?
I need to post up the numbers and design. Yes, plan to push it back, I think 2 inches.

I need to go pick up some metal for tacking and testing, but first step is to make the plate for the top of the diff.

your looking in the right place. you can basically spec out what you want. let me know if you need help. cool project by the way!

and long lasting reflection, twisting and twisting found rear brake calipers with

a) handbrake as mechanical

Great seeing those big wide tires on an 80, as I have been concerned with the width of my pitbulls.

Wish I could see a picture of how they did the steering. Looks stock Volvo, so must have made a sleeve to go to factory pitman and tie rod.

ohhhh closer...

pesinpas combines disc brakes with Volvo's gateway constructions.
the record comes from the KZJ land cruiser and saddle from the patrol.
The Navan curve for a diameter of 173mm that fits into the disc.
the wheels are 16 "patrolled by the split ..

Quick answer, Nissan Patrol calipers was most probably used to bacause this swap was done to 2 patrols. To keep vehicle legal in Finland, changed brake parts need to be at least from the same weight car and Braking power needs to be at least identical to the original. It's the easiest way to use the vehicle's own parts. Patrol calibers Also included are small enough to fit inside Nissan original 16 "rim. And they are common / cheap in Australia. KZJ Land Cruiser discs are big, cooled and the offset to the inside is good to get caliber in the right position.
Volvo spindle is machined to fit inside KZJ disc, diameter 173mm, two spacer rings (those ufo looking parts <img src = icon_smile_wink.gif border = 0 align = middle>) are fit both side of volvo spindle to fit tight to disk and bolt head.
15 "rim Might Be Difficult to get fit Because tie rod end will hit it. Of course rim can have more backspace but it would make axle too wide to be legal (yes we have very silly laws).
Brake balance is still something what guys might need to adjust but as you can imagine, they are VERY happy for Those.
I heard That they might also sell Those disc brake kits. Maybe someone can confirm this rumor and possible price.

The disk is probably a motorcycle that brings:
KZJ / VZJ95 3,4i / 3,0TD 97--02 Forward JÄÄHD (Ø319mm) 22-5895 45.50e (

the record is just yours.
the saddle bracket comes underneath the stud bolts in this style.

Tried to find a way to contact the poster on that sight, but by Finnish is a little rusty. Looking for who could make those conversion parts, actual part numbers for the "hat" disc or the "paddle" caliper.
Do you have an account on Offipalsta forums? If not, i suggest you to make one and reply directly to this thread, or by PMing oska80.
To make things easier, scroll all the way down and choose English language.

Brake disks are from 90 series Land Cruiser: ToyoDIY.com
And calipers from Nissan Patrol Y60, single piston.

awesome info. so looking at a:
04/1996-11/2008 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER KZJ9*,LJ9*,RZJ9*,VZJ9* 43-03: FRONT AXLE HUB
toyotal part number 43512-60120

In those threads they mentioned they had to use in finland the same brake caliper to meet their rules, so I will plan to move to a 80 series caliper. I am interested in the e brake caliper they found that would work. Have not seen part number for that yet.

a little parts search says that a 43512-60120 is the same as bosch 0986478698. Was able to find specs on it. Will compare it to an 80 series
