@Racer65 looks good Roger. There are a lot of your parts in that little blue truck. Thanks for helping to keep these legends on the road/trail. Have you thought anymore about floor mats for 45's?

Thanks for your photos. The only difference I see with a FJ45 is in the left driver seat leg, which can be taken care of with some minor trimming.

@carreta not yet. I'm running a K&N until I can finish the AC. Then I will be able engineer the inlet plumbing for the snorkel.

Went on a diet.

Can someone tell me how much the 2F weighs?

I got some lights on today and finally found (hidden deep in the wiring harness) my EGR wires. I hope that now that I am hooked up, I can get an emissions waiver.

On Saturday I started Sampson for the first and on Sunday the ol' man was back at work doing what he was designed for.

Didn't actually do it with mine, but went for a drive up to Sisters/Bend yesterday and spotted this fine example in one of the small towns I passed through. Amazing how one gets to be able to spot one even from just a small piece seen out of the corner of one's eye. The old brain just shouts it out before you even realise what is going on.

Whoever this belongs to... Nice truck, it put a grin on my face.

So your in Oregon currently. Don't know what the weather/temperature is over there, but we finally got some warmer weather here now--finally.

Did you go to Sisters/Bend from the Portland area? Which route, down I-5 to Salem and over Santiam Pass, or through Government Camp and over Mt Hood? Just curious as to which towns you went through. Wondering where you possibly saw the 40. It is the same color as mine, except mine is a 71, and the paint/body on mine is much worse looking.

I was up in the Detroit Lake area Sunday morning (May 21). Several guys from church and I hiked up to Stahlman Point, overlooking Detroit Lake. From the top, looking to the northwest we were overlooking Detroit Lake, the town of Detroit, and beyond at a large waterfall. To the southeast we could see the upper end of Detroit Lake and Mt Jefferson on the skyline. In between was a ridge of trees running down to the lake that blocked the view. And what a view it was!!

Dropped the modified engine oil pan off to be welded up. (Santa didn't leave a TIG welder AGAIN!)
And, got the new exhaust system installed. On the road until Friday, then three whole days to finish up.

Recently red that Roundeyes was no longer manufacturing the 7" round headlights, so I decided to protect my investment with some mesh grills.

Finished installation of hardtop and rear ambulance doors, so decided to put the 40 in our communities annual car show. As I checked in the girly who registered me complemented my rig as "nice Jeep"!!! However many really appreciated it and several had owned one over the years so all in all an excellent day.
