Good stuff:)

I'm running the Con-fer rack and also used the same seam sealer. It will goosh out where the rack feet sit. I had some aluminum strips from somewhere that I cut down to about 4 1/2" that I laid in the gutter that the rack feet sit on to spread the load. The Dicor sealant never really hardens.

Figured today should be the day to use a newly acquired "Made in USA" paint pen on my dash knobs. Link —> Nissen

Put some Monstaliner on the bottom of my tub.

Got my new seats in. Even have the electric motors on the driver side working.

Also re worked my roll bar on the load tray. Looks a lot better now and goes a long way to fixing the tray. Now just the number and side steps to do

I bought them on eBay. Then I bead blasted them and had them powder coated.

How did you apply your monstaliner? The texture looks different from others

Who me?

I "dabbed" it on with a paint brush. The second coat gave it the texture.

Agreed on the save. Not my choice, but it's good therapy at least. @Stumpalama has some good pics on repairing the nose. Maybe he can add a link here.

Here you go: Watch Me Restore a Rusty Hood

It helps to have another hood that is in decent shape to use to form the patch pieces. I still have some work to do, but the hard part is documented in my thread.

Good luck!
