Not sure if I would even paint the rear section if I didn't line it. I think lining it with a color
match may be more my thing. Still give it the stock look but with more protection.

Not a purist:)

Is "The Force" keeping that hitch attached?

Hahaha, that is from the PO. Everytime I use it to step up with, I wonder if I am going to get hurt.

I finally started the Chassis Saver project! Wire wheeled and sanded the back floor and fender wheels. It took me over 2 hours to remove everything from the back. All of the bolts to the roll bar were locked in tight. Lots grinding and shop vac'n and air spraying until I had a good surface. Only thing that I left hanging was the rear heater. When I do the front half the heater will be removed.

I will need to apply a 2nd coat tomorrow. I am hoping I shouldn't have to do any prep work.

Not sure if I will put bedliner down after or paint or leave the Chassis Saver on. Any suggestions please!!

Got home and put the second coat of chassis saver on. Much easier than the first coat and so far it looks good. I may just leave the chassis saver but I need to see if it needs some sort of topcoat to keep it protected. I would suggest this product so far. Very easy to work with!!

I'll post a couple teaser pics here, but all the details will come in my build thread

Installed CCOT rear sill, which despite some comments, fit perfectly and I'd recommend it to anybody

Finished my headlight project. Rampage glass lenses with 2012 BMW projectors, black bezels, and 6000k HID's

Finished triple wipers (yes they work, and yes, the blades will all match)

Damn, that looks great. More details, please.

Lights and wipers. I need to swap out my wiper assemblies soon. Always liked the LX triple wiper look.

I really like the look too, hence the reason I did it. I had an overseas member send me his measurements between his wiper posts, so I used them with some small changes. Next, I used my linkage as well as a different linkage I bought from a member and made my own that supports 3 wipers. I also had to modify my wiper motor so it turned in a smaller radius, in turn reducing the movement of the wipers.

It definitely wasn't easy, and it took a LOT of trial and error. I will post more pictures and measurements on it in my build thread.

More info on the beemer hid's please.

Well, I definitely wanted clear glass lenses, so those were the first things I bought. Next, I wanted a very crisp cutoff line (I love nice headlights in cars, like my stock S2000 lights), so I looked around for a good projector that is a bi-xenon (low and hi beam). I cut off the back of the new lights to accommodate the projector lenses, made up a spacer out of ABS plastic, and thats about it. The good thing is that they will still aim like the factory bowls.

I chose 6,000k HID's, as I wanted good output with a hint of blue. I will get more pictures for my build thread. The Rampage bowls were around $80, the bi-xenons were $160 (ebay), and the HID kid with ballasts was $150, so close to $400 in total. It should be plenty bright, especially with my Rigid spot lights up front.

Thanks!

Bought the last 5 BFG Mud Km2 345/75R16's in the country....and they were only in production last week.

I looked at mine. It was the only thing I could do because I am officially broke.:crybaby:

That sounds like me.

I did put $20 worth of fuel in the tank to drive down to a house we were looking at to make sure it would fit in the garage. I had 6" of clearance above the hardtop. That's enough for a springover to fit right? :hhmm:

Other than that, it's pretty much being used for storage :o

Integrated a DPDT switch to not only control my electric fans but to illuminate a panel mount indicator on my dash to tell me when my fans are full off. Yes I need a dummy light that big. Figured I might as well use the space. I used a 22mm LED in the big hole. Unfortunately I scored the dash while re organizing the lay out of my controls. Kitty sticker is a mod my at the time two year old daughter installed.:)
