Interesting. I was just looking at their site and they have a lot of smaller applications now. patiently awaiting feedback on this.

Basically bolt on for the 2f manifold?
Yep- I should have some feedback late next week. @thecrazygreek mightbhave some?

@mattressking Those photos should have a *warning* posted….”not suitable for all ages”. She’s BEAUTIFUL!

Installed a step today on the back of the fj. I had a flip down rear step left over from my Land Rover Defender build that I never used and we figured it would work really well..

Finished this one up, all the way down to new brass butterfly screws and every steel part zinc plated. Well that’s a lie, the slow cut valve rod isn’t - which I need to find a way to remove without breaking the aluminum.

Looks like jewelry, nice job.

That is such a good shade/tone of green. Mine is Rustic (emphasis on the rust) and I’m not overly in love with it. This shade will go in my inspiration folder along with mustard and olive.
It’s about as cheap of OD Matte as they come. I really like it too.

Beautiful job…you set the bar high. There is a big difference between a carb rebuild vs. restoration. Then, there are different grades of restoration.

Ciao Bella! So… questions because I’m trying to be a better restorer. Did/how/were you able to replace the diaphragm in those two sealed assemblies? If not, did the zinc plating not damage the rubber?

About a month ago, I had asked the guys here for a recommendation for spark plugs and a nice set of wires without spending $100 for just the wires. No matter where I’d look I could not find the specific numbers referred to me in that post. After a few days wound up at a web site called sparkplugs.com.
So about 38 days after I placed the order….these showed up.

BY THE WAY…nothing blew me away like the carburetor from @mattressking. I think I need a 16x20 print of that one for the wall…

Legend has it that it was a carburetor built by mattressking that was in the Briefcase featured in the movie Pulp Fiction.
Also did a starring role in the trunk of Repo Man…

Started a seatbelt cleanup on some marketplace find belts since the old aftermarket ones went away with the roll bar removal.
I put them in a bucket with hot soapy water to soak. Had lunch, went back to scrub them and sometime in between we lost water in the neighborhood. No one knows why or when it will be back.

What year 40 did you order these for. When I put in my year('77) it comes up with a different part number. Just don't wanna order the wrong thing.
Thanks
