Maybe I see why you’re attaching to the role bar? Normally the seat bolts to the tub wall but because the seats are wide and don’t fit between the bars you have to secure the seat to the roll bar?

Yes, Sir that is correct. I have the seat connected to the roll bar and the tub. I was going to get the FJ40 jump seats to fit between the roll bar, but the boss talked (told me not to) me out of it, lol. It will be rarely that someone rides back there. It's mostly for looks. We will put cargo (bikes) back there most of the time. ThanksMaybe I see why you’re attaching to the role bar? I had a similar wiring problem. The power wire to the distributor was getting pinched by the clutch return spring under the dash and shorted out. Took a few days to figure that out!My cruiser hasn’t started for 3 days. I have previously replaced the starter with a GR one and it worked great for awhile, but suddenly nothing. Just a click, no turn over. So I assumed it was a dead battery ( I’ve been fighting a parasitic draw from somewhere. I’ve yet to find it) so I put the battery on a charger, but later, nothing. Just a click. My horn has been on the fritz too, since I painted the radiator housing. So I try looking at the fuses. The fuses are fine. Just as I’m about to start breaking into manuals I see a wire disconnected. A bayonet connector. I plug it in and give the Kay s turn and the cruiser sparks to life!! First turn! What stumps me though, is according to my schematics.. that shouldn’t have done anything. Lol. The one wire coming out of the column was a green and white. My diagram says that should be for my horn, and that connects to a red and black? (I made a jumper out of left over yellow and black wire a few years ago when I first found this, it was never connected prior to the jumper) no idea what this is. But the cruisers running great.

I believe you are missing the raised contact on the top of the horn brush.Intermittent horn problem- the horn wouldn’t work unless I rocked the steering wheel back and forth. i pulled the wheel and cleaned off a coating of rusty crud on the contact ring. Back in business.

Huh, so that's what they are supposed to look like... never seen a new one.I believe you are missing the raised contact on the top of the horn brush.
Here is a pic of mine with the horn brush circled and the raised contact missing.

And another pic of the brush with the raised part of the contact intact.

Yes the contact button is gone. I considered putting a tiny screw there. I might see what they have at the hardware store.I believe you are missing the raised contact on the top of the horn brush.

Starting to stick just a little.
I was up at the ski mountain with my daughter for a clinic. Full white out conditions for about 5 miles coming back down, just follow the taillights in front, and listen for the rumble strips on the edges!

Its a beauty!Thanks guys!
The Sammi is 1994 with factory TBI. I've had it since 2003 and used mainly as a dingy behind our RV's. It now is my wife's "run to town snow vehicle" and my "rescue my stuck 4wd tractor vehicle"

The Shop is a true dream......that took over 3 years permit and build in the Mountains.....but, I love it! The center bay is designed for our Tiger camper to be stored out of the weather and can also be used for toy maintenance. Cheers.

Getting my ignition switch installed. Also here is the way my highlift jack is installed. I’m on the hunt for the pins to hold it to the stepboard. Also have to order those rubber holders, as it did not come with those here in Colombia.
