Now you are supposed to touch it to make sure it is hot or at least that was required when I was a kid. Leaves a nice series of circles on the tip of your finger.I made FIRE!

Too true! That's a right of passage. Now you are supposed to touch it to make sure it is hot or at least that was required when I was a kid. Leaves a nice series of circles on the tip of your finger.
Yeah I would think a small brass machine screw with a couple of nut on each side would do the trick.Yes the contact button is gone. I considered putting a tiny screw there. I might see what they have at the hardware store.
Thanks, I had to get spacers on my FJ43. I'm running the steelies with 265/65/17's. They look great. These are the 17inch FJ Cruiser steelies. Will I need spacers for these. Planning to run. 10.5 inch wide tire.
The white looks right. Sweet looking 40, love that color. Is this a restoration, or original paint truck that is immaculate?Had a stock wheel powder coated white and bought one 35x10.5x15 mud hog tire to check to see if I had enough clearance and liked the look. This took place back in October. Thanks to @mattressking and @EWheeler for trying them out and getting it out there. Even though I’ll probably won’t do anything extreme I look the look of it. Excuse the messy garage. Also I wanted to compare the black to white wheels. I initially liked the black but the white makes it pop out.

Where did you buy the 35x10.5x15? I'd buy a set for my 60 if I could find them...Had a stock wheel powder coated white and bought one 35x10.5x15 mud hog tire to check to see if I had enough clearance and liked the look. It’s a restoration but the original color. I hade the back side of the gas tank cover scanned for the color code since it’s wasn’t exposed to the elements. When I had the gas tank cover painted I told the guy not to paint the back side of it. Thanks as wellThe white looks right. Sweet looking 40, love that color. Priority tire. They are out of stock for now and eBay sellers as well. I spoke with green ball who makes the tire and they said check back in January and they should be it stock. It’s a really good price on the tires for what your getting.Where did you buy the 35x10.5x15? I'd buy a set for my 60 if I could find them...
Also they have it listed as a 35x10.00 but it’s actually a 10.5Priority tire. They are out of stock for now and eBay sellers as well. Great idea @Green Bean. I read those forums and have been mindful. Will do it this weekend. ThanksYour rig looks great. A note of caution if you don't mind... There have been issues reported here with wheel spacers coming loos and wreaking havoc. Hence, there are quite a few detractors. It might not be a bad idea to breakout a bottle of red Loctite.![]()
Is that a pile of fj40 Steely rims in the above pic?The spacers cost about $20. USD each. I only put two on the front wheels. Should I put some on the rear? The rear looks fine , don’t rub.

Thanks for that advice. I'll lock tire blue my front wheel nuts. Mine are only 1/4" I think and mount on the factory studs all the way through the rim.Your rig looks great. We did 3.5 hour drive from Bogotá to Villa de Leyva yesterday to experience the start of the Christmas season here in Colombia. It was a great opportunity to shakedown the Land Cruiser. We made it safely with no surprises. Enjoy a few pictures. Seasons Greetings!

Nothing produces color right out of the camera like Hasselblad! What camera did you use on this picture? Nicely doneThe season is finally over and we are in the days where we dont see people on the beach so I decided to take the Hasselblad and fj40 out for a photoshoot.
