Watching the snow pile up on the hibernating 40.
Replace all my 79 fuel lines, filter and clamps. Old hose was hard and wasted non ethanol stuff.
I tried to remember where I parked it.
Shake down period is going well. Took it to a braai at my uncles and had to enjoy the view

Disassembled three jump seats and created a pair I was happy with. Just need to order fresh mounting hardware and I’ll check this project off the list.
Started this project over 5 years ago… had to dig out the house caulking that PO used and replace with self leveling sealer
Top sanded and ready…
2 coats of Rustoleum boat primer and 3 coats of paint…
Spraying woulda been better but the foam roller did pretty good……. I haven’t had the top on for quite a while so I’m looking forward to putting it back together - hopefully I’ll remember what goes where!

Spent the week troubleshooting a starting issue. Has taken nearly a year to get to this point
Finally discovered the pickup tube was plugged with tank sealant.
Once I cleared the plug, the tank immediately started leaking from the seams....
Dang it.

I did not…. It didn’t seem to have air bubbles so I skipped that
I may wet sand and apply one last coat… mostly because I have enough paint!
Pulled the instrument cluster out to replace the speedometer. A little disappointed at having to do this. Speedo was NOS installed in 2001. Only had 122K on the ODO. But it started squealing and jumping (not bouncing); I know what comes next
Of course I HAD to pull a few extra things out in the immediate vicinity while they were accessible and do a little detailing.
