That kit looks like the hard top to the tub. Do not believe this top has ever been removed. Original I bought it from stated he never removed it. The cap itself was removed to replace the head liner. I currently have the cap loose to clean up the goo mess. It squeezed out on the outside and looks sloppy. I want to clean everything up. Wax the top of the hard tops sides before installing the cap. This cruiser has spent it entire life in AZ. Original owner parted is in a carport on the north side of his house. He was living there in 3/70 when he bought it new. Same address on the original title. All original glass with weatherstripping that hasn't split at the seam ans leave a gap.

That second photo is a similar view to what I saw when in your hood last fall. It was a breath-taking feeling that you just cannot describe when that kind of beauty lies in front of you. You are a blessed man to be able to make a life where you do! I drove to the top of Horsethief Peak I think it was called, and I didn't even bother to get out the phone as I knew I couldn't capture the size and perspective correctly. You nailed it on this one!

Got the load tray to final size. Had to shorten the front, move the wheel arches and wheel boxes and then took 100mm out of the center. Now to clean it all up

Had the day off so I tackled some pesky cruiser maintenance that I have been putting off for a while. Adjusted the valves, leaned out the carburetor mixture, swapped in a new cap and rotor and replaced the air filter. Timing was good so I checked all fluids and went for a drive. So nice having quiet valves on a well tuned 2F!

Been on a mission to at least ‘improve’ my ride quality: recently replaced bent relay rod, new pitman arm, spring shims, new shackles as well as TRE’s all redone earlier…………
Today I crossed another item off my “maybe this will help” list: Road Force balancing - BEST $57.94 I’ve ever spent!
Work done at Milton Martin Toyota (oldest Toyota dealership in Georgia) I couldn’t get a tire place to work on it because of the 33’s on OEM wheels - dealership didn’t say a thing!
It was a much better drive…….. took the long way home!

I present the $28 tailgate! It may not be to everyone's taste, but I wanted a cheap and easy solution to recently going topless and removing the ambulance doors. $23 Heep rollbar hammock and $5 stainless bolt, nut washer combo.

Since it's aerodynamic, I'll bet I can get this thing up to 62 or 63.

Replaced tie rod ends and patched holes in my soft top. Slowly working through the maintenance list.

well… I’m slowly tackling the install of the Mosley ‘magic’ motor. About 2-week behind where I thought I’d be at this point, but having a lot of fun!

This weekend’s projects were getting the Sniper re-installed, Installing and bleeding the new master clutch/slave cylinders (including new SS braided line), flushing the brake lines with new fluid and getting the new Vintage a/c evaporator installed on the front of the radiator

This week I hope to get the radiator and bib re-installed, re-install the battery tray & battery and finish wiring up the new alternator (by-passing the external voltage regulator).

Still need to finish wiring and adding freon to the a/c compressor (inside cabin install complete)

Starting to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel…
