9 months after I pulled the head to do a “basic exhaust valve job”, the motor is back together and in the vehicle!
90% done just figuring out the carb then it will be ready for a test fire

What’s with the hose clamp on the oil filler cap? You must have one of those 2Fs that is oil tight, lucky you.

HA! I wish. Unfortunately, my engine has a sh*t ton of blow-by. That is my third TEQ oil filler cap, the others are God knows where. I now have the valve cover breather hose routed to a blow-by oil catch can, then to atmosphere.

I keep my rig tuned up and it runs strong, and I drive it daily, so I keep kicking that (catch) can down the road.
 
had a fuel leak from the carb line at the tank. To really get at it i decided to take the gas tank cover off, which meant the seats had to go...

took the opportunity to add a missing gromet (thanks City Racer), and went from this:

I didn’t want to deal with the cross member when placing my new 4 speed so I cut it out. Thanks to @lelandEOD I had a simple solution.

Finally decided to bite the bullet (for the third time) and get the 64 a Holley Sniper fuel injection system.
The carbs I've been trying just aren't cutting it.
This is an original 64 F single barrel (big window) with the old school intake / head etc.
Should be an interesting install.

I went with the 2GC Small Bore in black sans fuel kit. I pieced my own kit together and saved 50 bucks, as well as getting better accessories such as a true Walbro 392 pump, an6 fittings, hose, filters etc. Etc...

I will start a thread on the install when it arrives.

I am anxious to see how this works out for you as I would like to install something similar on my 73 F Motor. Keep me posted.
