I should have chosen the Mud handle, 'Rust&Rustoleum,' instead of 'Dizzy.' A little wire wheel and rattle can before the weather turns crummy.

I don't know how much life is left in these OEM springs, I'll run these for a bit. The shackle-side eyes get flakey, internally.

These are new Toyota spring-clip, 15-inch, steelies for disc brakes, which is the same wheel that came stock on my '75 with drum brakes, I believe.

Mine quit prior to change of ownership. My OCD mpg tracking has been going crazy. How did you get yours working? Service manual, thread on here, YouTube?

Mine was crap when I bought the 40. The speedo wouldn't work and had been disconnected, the gauges were working poorly so I opted for an Autometer GPS speedo and new Autometer gauges all around.

DAMN .. ok so you didn't just flop over for a sleep :(

Ran across this rig today, SOA, shackle reversal, some oddball V-8 engine, Saginaw steering, overall pretty clean and rust free from what I could see, mines still cooler though.

As I'm replacing my entire hydraulic brake system, short of the unions, in the seventh inning, I discovered this.

It was hiding behind the shock, on the passenger side of the rear pumpkin. There was no indication of trouble, as I bled most of the rust out before I decided to just get all new equipment. It looks like it was smashed against an anvil.

Work on the 64 continues...

Didn't have an OEM rear view mirror bracket, so I made one.

Didn't have a OEM rear view mirror, so I bought one that is almost a dead ringer in stainless steel.

Turned out okay!

Towed both my 73 FJ40 and 76 FJ55 back to my house from the shop they were at. Not everyday you see two Raptors towing classic LC’s down the freeway!

I am impressed you could tow both at once, did the front raptor have any issues towing the rear raptor :)
