That's freakin' awesome! Toyota would have replaced the whole thing at an outrageous price, not to mention the labor. So much more elegant to fix just the part that is busted.

If you haven't already given the details, which door went out?
yep Toyota wanted over 200 bucks for just the part, the motor was 6 bucks, easy fix! It was the drivers door, it started as an intermittent problem, once in a while it just wouldn't lock, then it got worse then better. After a month it didn't work at all. Popped the door panel off, replaced the motor and back in biz, works perfect again!

Threw some new brake pads on the Lexus. Went with the TRD Landcuiser pads. Found a set of OEM pads with barely any pad material left in the rear, and some nearly new NAPA pads on front. Rotors were in good shape so I left them alone. Followed the TRD bed in process included with the pads. Truck stops with more authority, brake pedal is firmer, initial bite is great. Definitely a worthwhile investment and the easiest brake job I have done to date.

Installed my Slee sliders on Saturday.

Now I’m broke!

I didn't do it, but the dealer did : Coolant Valley Plate : $1200 , sweet

Mounted up some 275/65R20 Falken WildPeak AT3W's on the LX570. Removed the front mud flaps. Will have to do a little fender liner tuck to get rid of the rub in the front but plenty of clearance on the UCA so I won't need to run spacers which is a bonus. Tires ride great and I am amazed how little impact going to 34's had on the ride quality. Going to 33's was very noticeable on my FJ and going to 35's pretty much destroyed the driving dynamics and it felt like a slug off the line.

Finished up the installation of the OME lift kit, had some help from Ian @ SNLandcruiser. Needs an alignment. Still has about 1" rake front to rear.

Got the rock warriors and 34x10.5.17 ko2s installed.

Also, moment of silence please. After spending its first 10 years down south, and sitting out the first PA snowstorm in my driveway, today the 200 met road salt for the very first time :(
